Just found Angel Town at a local used cd shop. Never heard of you before. WOW WOW WOW.
I dso a weekly show at WGDR , a collaege/community station. Will definitely play some tracks.

When you came to Denver you were kind enough to appear on our show JazzTales and you recorded one of my poems for the show.I was fortunate to get to sit in on bass for Johnny Midnight at your concert...you were gracious and wonderful and encouraged me to record...I left my position as Music Director to begin my own recording career and have 2 cds of my own out.
For which I must say thanks for your kind words and encouragment.I still do a couple volunteer on air shifts at KUVO and would love to get my hands on the new cd so we can get it on the air here.Congratulations on the new release.

myself. Now I see you've come out with Blue Venus. Thanks for making a new Mother's day tradition for me. I would love to see you live. Any chance you'll be coming to San Francisco?

Joy, I heard you play at the Paragon in Seattle in the 1990's. You signed the CD album I bought that night. It was a very special evening for me. It was one of those moments in one's life that makes a lasting impression. I loaned your CD to a friend and got the CD back months later without the cover... Needless to say I was very disappointed. I felt a tiny piece of my past was lost. Your music touched me that night. I was wondering when you would be back in Seattle. Thank you for sharing your talent with the world and touching the souls that listen to your words.

This is grand, this is grand! Of course, Blue Venus is silky and luxuriant, but what I love most is the compositions haven't lost that weird otherworldly sense, like Billie Holiday filtered through Captain Beefheart. BRAVO!

I bought Unspoken about seven or eight years ago when my band opened for you at a hole-in-the-wall gig in Indianapolis. I've been listening to it on and off since then and can't wait to get my hands on blue venus. let us know if you ever hit up the midwest again...
